Jana Patricia Valdez is a research assistant of the Learning Sciences research laboratory in the Education University of Hong Kong. She is currently an MPhil student with a degree of Educational Technology at the University of Hong Kong. She earned her BS Psychology at Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Manila, Philippines in 2013. Before working in EdUHK, she worked as a research assistant in College of St. Benilde, Manila, Philippines. She also worked as a research project manager based in the Philippines under the research project grant of Dr. Ronnel King, a research consultant at San Pablo College, and a teacher at Ahead Tutorial and Review center in Katipunan, Philippines.

Her research interests revolves around Positive Psychology, Educational Psychology, Educational Technology, and Positive Education.
