The Faculty propels interdisciplinary research to the next level - Learning sciences seminar by Prof. Manu Kapur

Prof. Manu KAPUR, Professor and Chair of Learning Sciences and Higher Education at ETH Zürich, Switzerland and formerly a Professor in the Department of Psychology of EdUHK, visited our faculty from November 29 to December 02.
He gave a seminar entitled, “The Learning Sciences: Key Principles & Implications for Education” on the 30th of November. This event was attended by staff and students. The seminar offered valuable insights on the development in the field of learning sciences and its implications for teaching and new learning.

In this seminar, Prof. KAPUR discussed the definition, principles, historical development, and practical implications of the learning sciences. He also conducted individual consultations with academic staff and students who are interested in the science of teaching and learning.

This activity was initiated by the Learning Sciences Area of Strength (AoS) of the Faculty of Education and Human Development (FEHD), EdUHK.
